‘Squeeze Benz’ Antonio Ginestri Arrested For String Of ATM Robberies

  • Antonio Ginestri, the teenager known as Squeeze Benz on YouTube, is in jail again.
  • This time, he’s facing charges related to several ATM and luxury handbag thefts.
  • Police identified a stolen BMW X7 that they claim Ginestri drove during some of the heists.

Squeeze Benz taunted police in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut for months. In May, authorities from the NYPD and New Jersey Public Safety Commission alleged that 19-year-old Antonio Ginestri was that same influencer. Now, they’ve arrested Ginestri a second time for a completely unrelated crime involving some $38,000 worth of designer handbags in addition to ATM thefts.

Ginestri allegedly created a name for himself by taunting police with driving antics that sometimes involved running when he ended up in a crash.

We covered Squeeze Benz over the course of several months including his arrest. Since that arrest, posts, and videos like the ones typically posted to the accounts associated with Squeeze Benz have dwindled.

Evidently, this new arrest relates to crimes that happened before police nabbed Ginestri for his antics as Squeeze Benz. NJ.com reports that Ginestri was arrested on May 16, five days before the NYPD and other authorities released statements connecting him to the Squeeze Benz accounts.

In the affidavit regarding the May 16 arrest, police claim that he stole $38,950 worth of designer handbags while allegedly driving a stolen BMW X7.

They also believe Ginestri was involved in robberies that happened on January 25 and 26. Allegedly he was also a main suspect in other thefts of ATM machines on February 6 and February 9. In addition, officers arrested a 16-year-old co-conspirator.

Now, the young man who allegedly treated New York and other states as his personal race track is facing grown-up charges. They include employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime, theft by unlawful taking, and conspiracy.

As of this writing, it appears as though the judge in his case has already revoked bail as an option, and a new court date isn’t set. If Ginestri is indeed Squeeze Benz, and there’s little reason to believe that he isn’t, we doubt he’ll be posting any more videos to his personal account anytime soon.
