Authorities in Memphis, Tennessee, have arrested a mother, father, and son after four stolen vehicles were found at their home in Cordova.

Police were initially tipped off to the theft ring after they tracked a 2019 Lamborghini Urus that had been stolen to the family’s home. While investigating the theft, the police scoped out the property and witnessed a man get in the Urus and drive away. They followed the driver, Angel Arias Machado, to the Social Security Administration building in Midtown and arrested him.

After the arrest, they quickly determined that the Urus driven by Machado was the one reported stolen from Atlanta, Georgia on January 21, 2023.

A search on the house was then executed and during it, the parents of Angel Arias Machado pulled up to the house in a Nissan Maxima. This car was found to have an altered VIN and it was later determined to be one stolen from Memphis International Airport in March 2019. The parents of Angel Arias, Luis Arias and Mayra Cutino Machado were both arrested, Action News 5 reports.

Things didn’t stop there as police then found a McLaren 720S on the property that had an altered VIN and was stolen in May 2022 from Hialeah, Florida. They also recovered a Maserati Levante that was reported stolen from Miramar, Florida on March 8, 2023. The family was also found to be hiding firearms, loaded magazines, marijuana, and $118,860 in cash in the house.

The parents of Angel Arias Machado both told authorities that the stolen Nissan and Maserati had been gifted to them by their son.

Angel Arias Machado has been charged with four counts of theft of property as well as three counts of altering a VIN, five counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, violation of vehicle registration law, and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Meanwhile, his dad has been charged with two counts of theft of property and two counts of altering a VIN while his mom was charged with theft of property and altering a VIN.
