Police haven’t released any information about the person who damaged multiple vehicles in a crash caught on camera

Imagine the sound of a violent crash just outside your door and then finding nobody at the wheel of the car that caused it all. That’s exactly what multiple residents in Trenton, New Jersey recently experienced after a wreck involving one moving car and four parked ones. Video of the scene shows the crash and the moment when the driver of the car runs away.
It’s unclear exactly where in Trenton this accident happened but the street appeared quiet and calm. Out of seemingly nowhere a car enters the frame from the left at high speed and bounces off of one parked car. They then carry that speed into a silver Jeep Liberty. The impact is so severe that it launches the SUV into the air.

What’s more, two cars originally parked just ahead of the Jeep also ended up with damage. The instigating car drifts to the left after the initial impact and hits another car across the street. Less than 15 seconds after all of the damage happens a person emerges from the vehicle and runs away and out of frame.

As of this writing, there is no official word about exactly what went down here. Neither the Trenton Police Department nor the New Jersey State Police have issued any sort of alert about the crash. The original poster to Reddit did provide any great details about the matter either. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see if authorities can track down the man responsible. If this camera was rolling during the accident, it’s possible that others were too.
