While Tesla is best known for its best-selling electric vehicles, it has also produced a wide array of weird accessories and merchandise inspired by its EVs. It appears that its latest merchandise item will be a piece of gym equipment, specifically a hammer inspired by the Cybertruck.

The automaker recently submitted a trademark application in the U.S. for a product called the ‘Cyberhammer.’ This application that was discovered by Electrek defines the hammer as a piece of “exercise equipment, namely, gym hammers for fitness purposes.” While the application doesn’t include an image of the hammer, it’s not difficult to envision what it might resemble

Few other details about the planned Cyberhammer are known but like other pieces of merchandise introduced by Tesla in recent years, there’s a good chance it’ll be massively overpriced yet will still manage to sell out. In late 2021, Tesla introduced a Cyberwhistle, selling the stainless steel whistle for an eye-watering $50. It followed up with the GigaBeer last year, selling it as a three-pack for €89. The beer was brewed in Berlin with citrus, bergamot, and sweet fruit notes.

It’s hardly a surprise that Tesla is looking to cash-in on the internet’s current fascination with the Cybertruck. Interest in the electric pickup truck has never been higher and with a select few customers now taking delivery, the public is now starting to learn all about Tesla’s latest innovative creation.

It’s also fitting that Tesla is making a hammer inspired by the Cybertruck. At the car’s original unveiling in November 2019, the carmaker infamously showcased the strength of the truck’s stainless steel bodywork by hitting it with a sledgehammer. While that hammer turned out to be a soft dead-blow hammer, the clip went viral.
