Most of the oh-so-many Ford Mustang crashes we stumble upon seem to star the V8-powered GT models or even higher-end variants with forced induction and V8s, either straight from the factory or modified. But in this case, it was a Mustang EcoBoost that decided to go sideways and introduce itself to a head-on collision.

The crash appears to have happened just a few days ago in the U.S. and as seems to be the norm for Mustang crashes, involves the driver pulling away from a Cars & Coffee event. You really can’t make this stuff up, folks.

We can see the driver pulling away aggressively when making a left turn before they hit the throttle and kick the rear of the pony car out. The person behind the wheel looks to have turned off traction control and is unable to control the slide. They slip out of control across to the left and on the wrong side of the road before sliding into the path of what seems like a new 11th-generation Honda Civic hatchback.

While we aren’t provided with a close-up view of the crash, there is a hefty crunch sound when the Civic slams into the side of the Mustang and we suspect that some serious damage was done to both cars. Fortunately, no one is said to have been hurt in the crash.

The second clip we recently stumbled across was also shared on Reddit and shows the aftermath of a second Mustang crash. This time a bright orange ‘Stang can be seen resting against the wall of a Trader Joe’s after the driver appears to have lost control of the car, driven over the curb, and fallen down a large retaining wall on the side of the grocery store.
