Reckless Street Racers Collide With Taxi In Israel Causing It To Crash

Engaging in any form of racing on public roads, yet this does not deter reckless drivers from endangering innocent lives. Just last week, a disturbing incident was captured on camera on a highway in Israel, where street racers collided with a taxi causing it to veer off the road and crash into the barriers.

In the recorded footage, we see the dashcam vehicle traveling at a speed of around 100 km/h (62 mph) on the right lane of the highway. Meanwhile, what appears to be a Renault Megane sedan taxi attempted to overtake from the middle lane, while a Kia sedan was occupying the left lane. It was during this brief moment that two cars, resembling a Chevrolet Malibu and a Skoda Octavia, flew by at an extremely high speed, with one of them colliding with the side of the Renault.

As the street racers brazenly continued their reckless course without stopping, the taxi suffered significant damage to its rear wheel. This caused the vehicle to veer sharply to the right when the startled driver applied the brakes, ultimately crashing onto the side of the road and spinning 180 degrees before finally coming to a complete halt.

The harrowing incident was captured in its entirety by the dashcam footage, which was shared on Reddit. Fortunately, it appears that the taxi driver emerged unharmed, as seen in the video when he promptly opens the door following the collision. Considering the circumstances, this outcome can be seen as nothing short of miraculous, suggesting that there were likely no injuries involved. However, the Renault Megane involved in the crash did not fare as well. The extensive damage to its front, rear, and side rendered the vehicle irreparable, making it a total loss.
