We bet you (like us) didn’t learn how to drive behind the wheel of a 740 hp supercar from Lamborghini

Aussie High-School Student Spotted Driving A Lamborghini Aventador SV With L-Plates

The end of a school day is a pleasant time for high-school students, but it can be a lot more fun and exciting if you add a special ride into the mix. This appears to be the case with a 16-year-old student from Australia who was reportedly spotted driving a Lamborghini on Melbourne’s Eastern Freeway during the school pick-up hour.

The photo was shot by @benjamin_kemp03 and shared on Facebook by Melbourne Car Spotters. Predictably, the post went viral with over 4.2k comments at the time of writing. As you can imagine, most of the commenters learned how to drive in cheap crappy vehicles that don’t stand a chance against the bull.

Notably, the supercar is not just any Lamborghini, but a stealthy black Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce. This particular model was introduced in 2015, sitting at the top of the Sant’Agata food chain before being replaced by the SVJ. It comes fitted with a 6.5-liter V12 producing 740 hp (552 kW / 750 PS) and features a more aggressive bodykit than your standard Aventador.

As required by the law, it was fitted with L-Plates suggesting that the driver is on their learner’s permit. In Victoria, learners must be at least 16 years old and should always drive with a supervisor who has a full license. They are required to have zero blood alcohol concentration levels, not use a mobile phone or other devices, and not tow anything. Still, nothing prohibits them from sitting behind the wheel of an exotic supercar, and unlike other areas in Australia, there is no extra limitation regarding the top speed.

Maybe the lucky student gets an upgrade to the Revuelto when they graduate and enter the exciting world of adulthood.
