2023 is on the way. As in, it’s on a trailer being towed across the country by a Kia Telluride X-Pro.

For the third consecutive December, Kia America is doing a cross-country road trip with the numbers that celebrate the incoming year during the ball drop in New York City’s Times Square. The four illuminated numerals are making stops this month in Las Vegas, the District of Columbia and Philadelphia.

They’re also getting in the face of a Kia competitor by swinging through Franklin, Tenn., home of Nissan North America. The digits will appear at this week’s Dickens of a Christmas festival in Franklin.

“Kia America is proud to share the excitement and anticipation of the New Year with people across the U.S., before delivering the iconic Times Square New Year’s Eve numerals to their home at One Times Square,” said Russell Wager, vice president of marketing for Kia America. “This nationwide road trip is the perfect beginning to New Year’s celebrations and a great way to start 2023 on a positive note.”

Kia started its coast-to-coast drive Nov. 28 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., 2,795 miles from Times Square.

It’s scheduled to deliver the 7-foot-tall numerals in Manhattan on Dec. 20.
